Announcing our newest perk for citizens of AuroraMUD! Now you too can have your very own webspace on our webserver! That's right!

Here's the deal: In order to help pay for the upkeep of the server and the bandwidth that it uses, our generous host, Aurora Developments, is offering 2 megabytes of webspace and a POP email account to all citizens of AuroraMUD. Yes, we know that you can get a free site at GeoCities or Tripod, but do GeoCities or Tripod have an awesome MUD that you can hang out on? Didn't think so! :)

So here's the deal: web and POP mail accounts can be yours for the asking, and for a measly $15 per year, $10 per year if you put a link from your home page back to http://www.aurdev.com and put up at least one page on your site that extolls the virtues of AuroraMUD in a unique and interesting way.

Your URL will be: http://www.aurora.org.au/~yourname, and your email will be: yourname@aurora.org.au

You will get: 2 megs of disk space, and up to 250 megabytes of transfer each month. If you need more space or are exceeding your transfer rate, the pricing for that is: $1 per extra megabyte of diskspace per month and $1 per extra megabyte of transfer per month. (You are very unlikely to exceed 250MB of transfer, unless you have broken Aurora Development's Terms of Service and are serving up porn or warez.)
